The UK is one of Chile's most important European partners — bilateral trade includes Chilean wine (the UK is one of the largest markets for Chilean wine worldwide), copper, fresh fruit, and seafood. London's financial sector and Chile's mining and renewable energy industries create strong investment links. The UK-Chile Association promotes bilateral trade and cultural ties.
Visa Services
British and Irish citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays in Chile up to 90 days. For work, study, or longer stays, visa applications are processed by the consular section. The embassy website provides current requirements and procedures.
