Overview
The Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Paris represents Mozambican interests in France. France and Mozambique maintain diplomatic and development cooperation ties, and Mozambique became an observer member of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie in 2018 despite being a Portuguese-speaking nation — a move that strengthened cultural and institutional links with the francophone world. The embassy serves the Mozambican diaspora in France and processes visa applications for French citizens travelling to Mozambique for tourism (Indian Ocean beaches, Bazaruto and Quirimbas archipelagos, Tofo Beach diving, Gorongosa National Park), business (energy, mining, agriculture), development work, and academic exchange.
Service Area
